“Lay It On Me” is the latest work from Sweden’s Kasbo. The independently released single features the Australian vocalist Keiynan Lonsdale. It’s coming just at the right time as Kasbo has some upcoming festival slots, as well as some tour stops with ODESZA.

Kasbo is coming off the start of a new mix series as well as his last original that received over one million plays on Soundcloud alone. “Lay It On Me” has the potential to rack up that amount for Kasbo again with its bubbly personality and catchy nature. This track is definitely something you are going to want to catch live, so if Kasbo is making a stop anywhere near you, then you need to attend. Upon listening to this you’ll see why it is a must.

Kasbo is starting something that you need to pay attention to. If his own releases weren’t enough – even though they are – then you’ll be glad to know he’s got a brand new mix series he’s unraveled. “Cry / Dance” has just launched with its first volume, available for free.

Enjoy just under one hour of music from Kasbo and company. It will showcase his own music, as well as music that inspires him. To kick things off proper, Kasbo has included some unreleased goodies in the mix and this is likely not going to be restricted to this first volume. One of the said unreleased songs is his next release, so there’s that on top of everything else. Take a listen through the mix this weekend and get ready for more! This is just the beginning.

The young Swedish gun Kasbo has delivered his free EP, Umbrella Club, this week through his website. The five track EP digs into the future bass style, but Kasbo makes sure to bring forth productions that aren’t just your run of the mill status. Although it’s not specifically a celebratory EP, the producer will be performing for the first time in the United States on the ODESZA tour later this month.

With every single being within the future realm, Kasbo had to bring some variety, which he does. He manages to keep things fresh throughout, making it a project where you won’t be skipping any tracks. One of the most infectious singles is “Fuck Love,” which is as beautiful as it is provocative. Most of the EP is upbeat like that single, but he switches things up halfway with the softer record “I Don’t Get It.” With his first original project out in the open, Kasbo has audiences everywhere already wanting more.

Sweden isn’t lacking in talent. Kasbo of Gothenburg certainly isn’t lacking any talent either, and his new remix of “Riptide” is evidence of it. If a futuristic flip of Vance Joy doesn’t put your week on track, we don’t know what will. Kasbo just uploaded this today and it’s already making its way around the internet. Kasbo keeps things soft right up until the drop when the burst occurs. A blast of energy livens up the scene, however the chill factor never subsides from this production. Whether you’re vibing with your crew, or home alone with some headphones in, this tune is gonna the job. Kasbo has been on a nice remix streak, but this takes the cake out of the lot. It’s four minutes of bliss, and you can have it for free. So, what are you waiting for?
