[Music Video] Luna Shadows – Cherry

One of our favorite musical talents, Luna Shadows, is back with another music video. This time it’s for her single “Cherry” that comes from her previously released EP Summertime.

The soft indie pop tune was just asking for a music video, but in all reality each one of Luna’s works deserves a visual counterpart. With “Cherry” Luna steps away from her black and white aesthetic to bring some color into the world. What she brings in color, she takes away in movement as this video is reminiscent of the ongoing mannequin challenges that are attempting to take over the internet. Even if you’re not a fan of those, don’t let that stop you from enjoying this beautiful work of art. Luna is as amazing as always, and we can’t wait to see what else she has in store for the new year. If you haven’t picked up a copy of Summertime yet, you should do so immediately on iTunes.

[Music Video] Luna Shadows – Hallelujah California

Luna Shadows has quickly become one of California’s prized possessions. In a short amount of time, she’s gained a lot of traction for her crossover style and unique brand. Her imagery may be in black and white, but her creations are just the opposite; full of life and color.

On July 1st, her Birthday, she released her debut EP, Summertime. One of the lead singles off the project was “Hallelujah California,” which now has its own music video. The imagery within this piece is a fascinating collection of visuals from around her Southern California home. She keeps within her aesthetic, which until now we have only experienced in photographs. Now that it has been unleashed in video form, the experience the viewer has is moving. Luna Shadows is a true artist that is able to not only entertain, but to really play with your emotions. We have huge love for her, as well as the other individuals who helped on this project, including the Ride or Cry Collective, Production Club and many more. On July 1st, Luna Shadows is giving the world a gift, despite it being her own Birthday. The Summertime EP is going to be a special project for Luna, as it is her debut EP. Over the past few months, we’ve heard single after single, and the last one is finally here.

“Waves” is the fourth and final single from Luna Shadows that will make up her upcoming EP. The three previous tracks were absolutely phenomenal, but “Waves” may be the best one yet. She doesn’t stray from her dark, poppy style, but there’s just something extraordinary about this one. It’s not far-fetched that “Waves” could be a radio hit, as it has everything you look for in a smash record. We were already ready for the EP to drop, but now, are mouths are watering and our patience is no more. Until July 1st, you bet we’ll be streaming this an ungodly amount of times.
