[Get Crunk] Friday Party Playlist (Vol 234)
There were so many good tracks that came out recently that we had to give you a couple extra today. This week’s Friday Party Playlist is packed with fourteen free downloads from producers all across the globe. Tracks from people like I.Y.F.F.E, Black Tiger Sex Machine, and Spock are just the tip of the iceberg. We also have solid collaborations from Carter Cruise x Dean Cohen, Matroda x Dustycloud, EMME x Erotic Cafe, Jayceeoh x CLVZA, Jaykode x Sullivan King and that’s not even all of them. Whether you’re simply streaming, or downloading these tunes, take them with you when you head out tonight. If you’re staying in due to the weather, that doesn’t mean you can’t party just the same. Most importantly, #danceirresponsibly.

Matroda – Chronic (Music Video) [TMN Premiere]
Chronic (Available February 12)
Spinnin Records is releasing something a bit off their normal beaten path tomorrow. February 12th, they’ll be releasing a single from Matroda called “Chronic” that brings some hard bass. “Chronic” is still within the house realm, but with its breakbeat affinity and rough sound, it’s a nice subtle shift that the producer is bringing, after already delivering his sound for one of the label’s remix packages. Instead of giving you the track early, we are happy to premiere the music video ahead of the release.
Tomorrow, you can “Chronic” for yourself. Today, the animated music video is here for your eyes and ears. It’s a simple, yet mesmerizing array of images whose minimalist artistry is captivating. Music videos seem to be getting either more boring, or more strange, and although this is a little weird and funky, it’s a refreshing visual that’s not even close to being over the top. Check it out below, and come back tomorrow to grab the single.
