See You Again(Modern Machines Remix)

After releasing a radio-friendly collaboration with 8 Graves, Modern Machines decided he wasn’t done utilizing the the fellow New Yorker’s vocal. He went ahead and did an official remix of 8 Graves’ single “See You Again.”

Modern Machines took the highly emotional original and flipped it into an equally moving future bass track. Over the course of the past year or so, the New York City producer has been dabbling with different styles, conquering each sound with a different record. With the “See You Again” remix he doesn’t fall short in honoring the original or expressing the chosen style with merit and grace. There are a lot of great Modern Machines records, but this is one of the dopest. Stream it today and be on the lookout for when a download pops up!

Modern Machines – Breathe feat. 8 Graves [TMN Premiere]

Breathe(feat. 8 Graves)

Modern Machines has long been one of our favorite house acts on the market. He has established a progressive sound that fans know and love, but now, Modern Machines has taken a bit of a different route with a new track. “Breathe” featuring 8 Graves is the latest work from the New York producer, and we had the opportunity to premiere it to you.

Modern Machines has dipped out of his zone before with a remix for “Lean On,” but with “Breathe” we still get remnants of his signature progressive style. With this original we get a more pop-based record that has no builds, no drops; it needs nothing of the sort to get your attention and keep you engaged fully in the song. It’s one of the more unique tracks that has come from an up and coming dance producer this festival season, which is why the track is already set to get some love tonight on Sirius XM Beta BPM. Because of this premiere, Modern Machines has decided to give “Breathe” away for free for the next 24 hours, so make sure to head here to get your copy now.

[Progressive House] Modern Machines – Feel It

Modern Machines
Feel It

Two of New York’s finest dance producers in Modern Machines are here with an original track after a long string of remixes. “Feel It” landed the two on Swanky Tunes’ label Showland. Progressive house has been a strength of these two, however with this they bring their own little twist to the sound to amp up the energy a bit for a style that’s a little more electro infused. I can only imagine how this track would go off at a festival, as they really brought both emotion and hype in one package without watering anything down, or bringing in cheesy elements. “Feel It” is a firm song whose shelf-life isn’t going to be limited to this year. Modern Machines have been making a lot of moves, so expect them to finish of the year with some epic records, and continue into 2016 for a memorable year. Beatport has “Feel It” on its digital shelf, so if you want to add it to your library, head over to their store to purchase it.

Major Lazer & DJ Snake -Lean On (Modern Machines Remix)

When the ninjas sit down to consult about what genre tags we give a track, for the sake of site organization, sometimes we have a song that gives us some trouble. We love this trouble, because the songs that lie in their own space are few and far between. Modern Machines new remix is one of those songs that had us scratching our heads a bit.

The New York duo took on Major Lazer and DJ Snake’s “Lean On,” which they turned into a hybrid track that pulls from dubstep and trap; however, it lies in the midtempo range, giving it a very subtle twerky vibe. They take a turn from their energetic house music to focus their attention on bassheads, and they have succeeded in creating a dope remix. Get your free copy today!
