“Aftershock” begins with an intriguing sonic haze that sucks you right into the song. [Electronic] MOONZz – Home (Prod. by SACHI)

Home

LA-based vocalist MOONZz has impressed us with her first 2017 release “Navigator,” and blown us away with her recently re-imagined version featuring production by New Zealand’s SACHI. “Home” adds the summer, pool-side sparkle to an already strong vocal track with popping synths and an up beat melody. This paired with the sultry feel of MOONZz’s voice has this track slated to be one of the hottest of the summer.

MOONZz shows no sign of slowing down between building a four piece band for her upcoming Summer and Fall tour and working on her 2nd EP, due this Fall. With collaborations including Khamsin, STINT, SRNO, Netsky, Armin Cekin and more to be featured on the upcoming EP, this vocalist is on our top watch list. Avoid missing what MOONZz has to offer by streaming here or purchasing via iTunes here.

Navigator

One of our favorite vocalists is MOONZz. When we first heard she was coming out with a new single we were quite excited and after listening to it for the first time, we were even more excited than before. The collaboration with Restless Modern on “Navigator” is amazing to say the least.

MOONZz has big things ahead, but with each step forward she manages to surpass every expectation that fans and industry figures alike have for her. The blending of pop with electronic is not something new or even unique, but MOONZz keeps in her own lane with regard to the two styles, showing off why she is someone to be respected and adored. With “Navigator” we get a whole lot of emotion, something that is never lacking in her work. She isn’t just an artist, she is a storyteller. If you didn’t know that already, you will after listening to “Navigator.” Love it like we do? Get your copy on iTunes.

[Electronic] MOONZz – Every Every (Carter Cruise Official Remix)

Every Every (Carter Cruise Official Remix)

When Carter Cruise was first diving head-first into bringing her DJ career to fruition, I had the pleasure of chatting with her about the experience, as well as her past as a DJ. Sure, people attempted to discredit her by saying she’s just DJing because that’s the cool thing to do, but that’s not at all the case as she had been doing it for a bit already.

She could have just kept with DJing, but instead she took things a step further and began learning how to produce music. After releasing an official remix for Krewella, she’s back with another official remix, this time for one of our favorites, MOONZz.

“Every Every” is the track of at hand. With Carter’s remix she showcases not only great songwriting ability, but also diversity, as this is not a one dimensional work of art. She hits us at first with a jersey club influenced beat that transitions into a short future phase. The second drop is really where it’s at though; we’ll leave you to enjoy it without spoiling it at all. Best part about this whole thing is that Carter Cruise dropped this one as a free download.

[Future Bass] .MOONZz. – Goodbye (Melvv Remix)

’Melvv & MOONZz – Goodbye’

Frequently, artists release polished works of art to minimal fanfare or perhaps a brief smattering of praise. Occasionally, those same overlooked artists are fortunate enough to inspire producers to build on their original pieces, thus propelling them to a wider audience and greater acclaim.  The latter scenario may very well be the case in the coming weeks regarding Moonzz.

Electronic songstress Molly Williams a.k.a. .MOONZz. – who gained a fair amount of notoriety for her rendition of Kanye West’s “Wolves” in tandem with KRNE – released her debut EP last week.

’MOONZz – Wolves Remake’

While Trust Cycles has yet to made its rounds through the blogosphere, the first hit remix surfaced this week to make a cycle of its own. Whereas the original is an enchanting soundscape, Jeffrey Melvin’s remix follows a grittier electronic melody, heavy on vocal loops, electronic bass, and a signature abstract effect found in other popular tracks like Ganz’ remix of “Man x Woman”.

While Williams’ fanbase will be finding delight in Trust Cycles – which is available on Spotify and Apple Music – fans of Melvv can catch the young producer as he churns out bass-heavy remixes all summer.

[Electronic] BLU J x MOONZz – GDBYE

GDBYE

The notoriety of MOONZz has been rapidly increasing, especially after her single, “Satisfy,” was featured in a Victoria’s Secret commercial. Her collaborations have been on point on consecutive releases, and she just teamed up with another fast rising act known as BLU J (who recently dropped an insane remix of a Kaskade and Deadmau5 classic) that solidifies this exact point.

Their talent has already been recognized in a big way since it snagged a Beats 1 premiere with Zane Lowe recently, and this midtempo masterpiece juggles a powerful vocal, thunderous production, and infectious groove with a precision very similar to Oliver. “GDBYE” carries more deep house influence than Oliver does, but there is no denying both know how to push your speakers to the limit. This song is big, bold, and ridiculously fun. Do yourself a favor and hop on the MOONZz and BLU J trains now, because they are starting to fill up real quick. If you’re digging it, don’t forget to grab a free download also!
