The LA meets London duo Medii has planted a major flag on 2022 with the release of their LP What If This Is All Real. The fourteen track project showcases the group’s dynamic talents with influences from electro pop to 80’s, to indie dance and beyond.

The synth-laden throwback vibes that oozes throughout this LP is one of its best qualities. It’s a glue that keeps this album feeling tight throughout. Another highlight that keeps things cohesive despite the wide range of talents involved are the vocals. From front to back What If This Is All Real is packed with memorable performances from the likes of Cat Cayenne, Gemyni, Sidney Blair and more. Medii delivered a massively fun listen that manages to also express emotional sentiments that will make the LP a timeless treat.

The DEUX Twins are back releasing music and we’re here to give you a first listen in the dojo. In honor of their return, they’ve released a free download of their remix of “Congratulations” by Post Malone. You’ll be sure to hear this in their sets this Summer, including their highly anticipated set at HARD this Summer.

If you haven’t heard “Congratulations” then you must have been abducted by aliens or lived out in the wilderness. DEUX Twins started with a hit and ended with a hit. Their melodic remix is even more memorable than the original, with a catchy drop that isn’t going to be leaving your brain anytime soon. As we said previously, you’ll be hearing this in their sets, but don’t expect it to be listenable solely through them, as many DJs are likely to be hopping on this heater in a hurry. What happens when you put Flosstradamus, graves and Post Malone together? We can’t be exactly sure, but when FKi and Key are thrown into the mix as well, you get “Came Up.” Ultra Records released this single today, and it is set to be one of the biggest records of the Summer.

Flosstradamus move away from their usual trap style and bring some future sounds into the mix. From the producer side of things, “Came Up” is interesting because you can hear the contributions from each party. Obviously with the vocal route, that’s more obvious. With that side, we get a more R&B meets hip-hop style that has been plaguing the radio within the past year. “Came Up” is only partly what you may have expected, but any expectations you had about songwriting quality surely will be blown away. They really did a nice job with this one, making it a familiar, yet unique single that is accessible to both the mainstream and the underground. Damn, we thought heRobust couldn’t get any better, but we were sorely mistaken. After hearing his new busted remix, this time of “White Iverson” by Post Malone, we were floored. Not only is it just a high quality record, but he manages to jump around the genre board like no other, infusing house, future and trap all in one fluid arrangement. If you ask any producer, that’s not the easiest thing to pull off. heRobust is known for his hybrid style, especially within his sets, but this takes things to a whole other level. “White Iverson” in its new form is climbing its way up to the top of our favorite tracks in a hurry. Have a listen for yourself and see just how high it can climb on your charts. Oh yeah, and he dropped it for free. Straight baller!
