Prismatic & Tetrix Bass – Fuse [TMN Premiere]

On June 29th Firepower Records will be releasing the Mad Famous EP by Baltimore’s Prismatic. Instead of having you wait over a week to get a glimpse of the project, we’re premiering one of the records for you right here! Prismatic’s collaboration with Tetrix Bass on “Fuse” is lighting up the dojo.

“Fuse” is a no holds barred dubstep hit for any and all headbangers out there; that is, if your neck can last through it. Prismatic and Tetrix Bass put together a three minute and twenty second piece together, but unlike with most productions by others, these two don’t skimp on the meat of the song. Be prepared for the bass to blast through your speakers for most of the song. Enjoy the exclusive first listen and check back online June 29th for the full Mad Famous EP!

[Dubstep] Prismatic – Marathon EP

MA Music continues expanding their catalog with the Marathon EP from Prismatic. Fans of dubstep will enjoy this pure-bread project as it has all the bass you could ever want, plus more. Marathon consists of four tracks total, including collaboration with Dubscribe and DELTAnine.

Sometimes when a project is all one genre, things can feel a bit repetitive after a while, but you never reach that point in Marathon. Prismatic went all out with his musical assault, leaving nothing behind so that listeners could have an EP that wasn’t skippable at any time. Headbanging is encouraged, as each song just calls for you to throw yourself back and forth to the beat. All the songs fit together in the grand scheme of the EP, however each individually stand on their own as strong singles as well. We’re not even going to attempt to pick a favorite, but maybe you can. Stream the full EP below and head over to digital stores for a copy if you want it.

[Multi-Genre] Most Addictive Drops Reboot Compilation

Most Addictive kills it in every aspect, whether it’s their label, blog or Youtube channel. We could go into why, but instead we’re going to focus on their most recent endeavor, the Reboot compilation.

Bassheads gather ’round, as MA collected six singles from some of the most solid up and coming producers in the game. Brig starts things off with one of the best songs of the project with “Flat,” which is anything but. Chime comes in hot with “Tundra” a video-game influenced dub record that is an absolute smash. “Amazon” by Guillotine comes in with a more modern dubstep original that keeps up the compilations energy, and heavy low frequencies.

Prismatic kicks us into a different direction with his hybrid tune “Ambush” whose name fits its attitude. Rob Gasser keeps us on our toes with his light-hearted drum & bass tune “Adrenaline.” The last song, “Departure,” is the only collaboration on Reboot, coming from Zetta and Wavemode. They bring the sound back to the contemporary area of dub that has been making a huge comeback in the last several months. Reboot is currently available on iTunes for purchase. It is well worth the money. Don’t just stream it, buy it!
