[Electronic] Rad Cat – Untitled EP

If you don’t know who Rad Cat is then your life is about to change for the better. The LA producer just self-released his debut LP entitled Untitled. Complete with four tracks, this project gives you a taste of what Rad Cat has been up to and where his sonic path will lead him in the near future.

Untitled is more than a few tracks slapped together into one project. Each song tells a story, with each story being a chapter in a larger one, being the EP in its entirety. Most EPs nowadays are just some tracks that sort of go together, so it’s nice Rad Cat took the time to craft something next level. The first three tracks bring together sounds from funk and house to get you grooving and dancing along. Then Rad Cat shifts things entirely with “hater”, a trapped out beat that is nothing like the others, but fits so perfectly in the end. All in all, Untitled is one of our favorite EPs of the season.

Last weekend was just too crazy with Electric Forest and EDC going on. This weekend, round two of Electric Forest is here and we’ll be out in the wild if any of you readers will be there too! Whether you’re traveling to EF, anywhere else or just chilling in your own town, we’ve got music to take your weekend to the next level. There has been so many great tracks released and many of them were free downloads. We’ve collected our favorites and shared them below. Party, party, party. It’s that time of the week, or shall we just call it the weekend already? For some of you students getting back into class, we hope your schedule doesn’t consist of classes today, and for those of you working, we hope your boss wasn’t a hard ass today. Tonight, you’re free to roam around as you please and get your dance or your drink on; or you can do like some of us ninjas and just relax while kicking on some great tunes.
