Thankfully, it’s the weekend. Moreover, some of us will have Monday off thanks to President’s Day, which means you can extend your Valentine’s Day another 24 hours if you have a partner. If you are single, just means another day of partying, or relaxation. Whatever you choose to do with your time, we’ve got you covered with some great records of all styles. Whether you need a love song, or just some straight up fist-pumping beats, this week’s installment has it. As usual, we start off with a little warm-up session from artists like Arman Cekin, Wildfellaz, and Boombox Cartel; then from there we move to some harder records from 5 & A Dime, NIGHTOWLS, Tommie Sunshine and more. Stream the tracks, or download them all for free. The choice is yours! Most importantly, don’t forget to #danceirresponsibly.

[Get Crunk] Friday Party Playlist (Vol 160)
The week is finally over, and the Friday Party Playlist is here. Let’s get things going, shall we? We start things off with Tommie Sunshine and KANDY, along with a Grant Lazo mashup of some classic records to get the mood just right for tonight. Then, we take “Uber” to the party where Kastra, Choppa Dunks, YOOK!E and more turn things up for a solid night of good tunes from both the house and bass realms. As always, every track here is available for free, so make sure once you’re done partying tonight, come back tomorrow and download them for your digital library. And remember, #danceirresponsibly.
Tommie Sunshine & Halfway House feat. DJ Funk – Shake That [TMN Premiere]
Shake That [OUT TOMORROW]
Tommie Sunshine and Halfway House have already provided the world with memorable records like “Give Up The Funk,” “Blue Screen of Death,” as well as others. Today, they are here with a brand new single called “Shake That.” Due out tomorrow on Ultra Records, the two acts continue the stream of festival ready house tracks; only, this time around they enlist the talents of DJ Funk.
In the past these acts have implemented dembow in their works, and the intro of this song has received the same treatment. They build up into a vocal breakdown that brings the anticipation up even further until a climactic drop that will blow the roof off the establishment. A hard bass hits and is subsequently taken over by some wonky synths that make for a fun listen. “Shake That” is another benchmark in each of these acts careers, and if you’d like to get it for yourself, you’ll just have to check back tomorrow for the opportunity!
