[Dubstep] Trivecta – Standing At The Edge

Trivecta
Standing At The Edge

Tampa’s Trivecta is following up his epic collaboration with Seven Lions and Wooli with “Standing At The Edge.” His hybrid dubstep hit fuses gargantuan wobbles with soaring synths for a massive track that is sure to destroy festival season this year.

“Standing At The Edge” originally began as a ghost produced track that Trivecta was making for someone else, but we understand why he held on to it for himself. Since its conception it’s been through various forms, but the one that Trivecta has settled on feels like an instant classic. Make sure to check out Trivecta while he’s on tour with Dabin and you just might here this one live!

[Dubstep] Illenium – Fractures (Trivecta Remix)

’Illenium – Fractures (Trivecta Remix)’

There’s been a very well deserved commotion behind producer, Illenium, his melodic sound puts you into a day dream state you never want to leave and the emotion behind his productions evokes even the most distant memories. What’s just as impressive is the talent that has taken on his tracks for official remixes and today we’re talking about Trivecta’s “Fractures” remix.

Trivecta does an excellent job with keeping the emotionally filled melodic sound that Illenium originally created with this track, but inducing us into a climactic build that drops into a synth laden edit and turns up the percussion for an up beat chorus that melds the two artist’s talents together seamlessly.

Alongside the remix teased in Illenium’s EDC recap which you can purchase or stream here, Colorado based Nick Miller has announced phase one of his Awake Tour. Fans can catch Illenium live all across the United States starting in Denver in November, heading through stadiums from San Francisco to Chicago. With amazing performances at EDC and recently Electric Forest, which we got to witness ourselves, we can guarantee there will be nothing disappointing about this tour. Check out the first stops below and purchase tickets for the tour here.

[Future Bass] Trivecta – Shatterpoint

Shatterpoint

When you think Florida, you think clubby house music, but that’s not the case for Tampa’s Trivecta. The producer’s new single “Shatterpoint” was released this week through AIA. Although the single fits into the future bass style, it doesn’t exclusively limit itself to that sound.

Trivecta has always had a taste for different types of music, producing everything from dubstep to glitch hop and house. Now, he adds future to that list with “Shatterpoint.” With it he blurs the lines between future and melodic dubstep, and we even get a bit of a hybrid trap break in the middle of the tune. It’s nice to hear someone put their own take on numerous styles, especially if they are all contained within one superb song. Grab “Shatterpoint” today through the digital service of your choice.

[Progressive House] Trivecta – Into The Limelight feat. Danyka Nadeau

Trivecta
Into The Limelight (feat. Danyka Nadeau)

If Monstercat releases a song, you’ve just got to check it out. About a week ago they uploaded a single by Trivecta called “Into The Limelight” that featured Danyka Nadeau. We gave it a listen, then another one, then another one and that cycle continued for a bit.

“Into The Limelight” is a fresh take on the progressive house genre whose main-stage sound can get a little repetitive at times. Trivecta decided to give it a bit different flare, by focusing less on the melodic stabs and more on painting a solid musical picture with more dynamics. Danyka did an incredible job with her vocal feature that is one of the biggest highlights of the song. Together these acts put together something special within the progressive realm, and it should certainly get its fair share of play time at the upcoming festivals by DJs who play this time of sound. “Into The Limelight” is currently available on digital stores, so head on over to iTunes if you would like a copy.

Evaporate (feat. Aloma Steele)

For lovers of dance music who just became hip to the scene in the past couple of years, there are decades of DJs, producers, and trends that they’re probably completely unaware of. For this blogger in particular, having been to his first club in 2000, trance always has a special place the continued infatuation with electronic dance music.

Trivecta and Aloma Steele are not a new duo to come together for a collaborative effort. This duo has a slew of songs together and have recently added another one to their growing list with “Evaporate.” This one is a serious dose of emotive, progressive-inspired vibes that go against the grain of his normal melodic dubstep tendencies.

A true musical expedition, “Evaporate” fuses entrancing melodies, steamy vocals by Steele, and flaring elements that come in towards the backend when the crescendo nature of the song is in full force. Sit back, take a seat, and allow Trivecta to guide you through an extraordinary progressive-trance adventure.
“Evaporate” is available on iTunes via Monstercat.
