[House] Lucky Rose feat. Tep No – Wild One

Lucky Rose ft. Tep No
Wild One

As if managing Ultra Music Festival wasn’t enough, the Ultra team put out one hot record with Lucky Rose and Tep No. Despite it’s name, “Wild One” is quite tame. This uplifting house single was the perfect release to have before the madness that is Ultra.

Now that we’ve had some time to get back into gear, we’re still jamming out to this acoustically influenced original. There are a lot of great house records out and there always will be, but every so often a song comes along that peaks out above the rest. “Wild One” is one of those. Although it was created by up and coming artists, it rivals some of the current top tracks in our opinion. Lucky Rose and Tep No are making it really hard not to buy this one, so head over to the digital service of your choice when the urge takes over to get a copy.

[Future Bass] MSTR ROGERS – Sooner Or Later

Sooner Or Later feat. Inka Wood

“Sooner Or Later” from the LA producer MSTR ROGERS has come to the fold thanks to Ultra Records. Coming off a #1 Spotify chart topper, MSTR ROGERS collaboration with the Aussie Inka Wood has the same potential of success. Out now on digital services, “Sooner Or Later” is a song you’ll be buying sooner rather than later.

Soft, smooth and delectable are some terms that come to mind while listening to this jam. Ultra Records is often known for it’s electrifying house records, but that doesn’t mean they don’t back amazing future tunes like this one. MSTR ROGERS is among a ton of talented artists on the roster, but he’s looking to establish himself as one of the top, go-to producers on the label. If he keeps putting out tunes like “Sooner Or Later” then he surely will succeed in that.

I just want people to feel good, and have fun in the process. Hopefully help them get a little lost for 3 or so minutes and escape the everyday! Whenever I create, I’m searching for that ‘moment’ for the audience.

[Multi-Genre] Helena Legend – No Explanations, Pt. 2

We weren’t sure where Helena Legend was going to go with the second installment of her No Explanations EP, but we’re extremely happy with where it went. With another three songs she shows just where her song writing can take her, moving in yet another direction from her past works, including Pt. 1.

Collaborators this time around include Sophie Hintze and Sade Serena whose vocal work on the first two tracks are incredible. In mentioning the first two singles, “Ghost Ya” and “One Night,” we must say that the moombahton sound is not what we expected at all. Helena took to a sound that has given producer’s pop hits in the past and in doing so she’s rivaling some major tunes with her own big tracks. With the last song, “U Don’t Love Me” we get a heavy, but highly musical trap single that is completely different from the vibe brought about by the first two singles. Oddly enough, it fits. No Explanations Pt. 2 is out now through Sony/Ultra on all digital services for those looking to add this to their library.

[House] Marc Vedo Feat. Kylie Auldist – Ride Of Your Life (Radio Edit)

Ultra Records has always been well regarded when it comes to putting out house music. The same can be said for the Bristol beatsmith Marc Vedo, who recently released a single with the veteran label. “Ride Of Your Life” dropped today, so it’s currently available for purchase on digital services if you so desire.

Marc Vedo isn’t the only one whose talents were brought to the table for this song. Singer Kylie Auldist performed on this vibrant house record. She adds a nice touch to a instrumental that, although strong, definitely is made for a vocalist to be on. With the upbeat Miami vibe, we can’t help but to think about MMW which is coming soon. We hope to hear this one while we’re there enjoying some sunshine!

The Music

Cages‘s music is consistently infectious and the funky beat of “The Music” paired with Black Gatsby’s smooth vocals is no exception. The high energy tempo and soulful vibes creates an overwhelming urge to lose yourself from the outside world and deeply immerse your mind and body in a melody fit for every dance floor. While some of us are delving into the coldest months of the year, this track, released on Ultra Records, is keeping us warm and we’re in complete agreement with the catchy vocals, “I lost my mind in the music and I love how it makes me feel.” “The Music”can be purchased or streamed here.

[Multi-Genre] Helena Legend – No Explanations Pt. 1 EP

We’re just going to come right out and say it, Helena Legend absolutely smashed this EP. It’s a new direction for the producer who steps away from her house roots to bring something completely different. She keeps up the energy and emotion that is packed in her works, but translates the feelings into future/bass territories.

No Explanations is being labeled as part one, so we can expect there will be another part coming in the future, hopefully the near future. This EP starts off with the best single, “RU Feeling It” featuring LYRE, but don’t let that stop you from checking out the full EP as the other two tracks are incredible. It just so happens that this one is just a bit more awesome, but that’s just our taste too. So, you’ll have to pick for yourself. If you’re not all about the bass, then the futuristic “Illusion” may be more your taste. It’s a bit lighter and airy. As far as vibes go, this has got all you need. Lastly, Helena Legend closes things out with Blake Rose on the trap single “Getaway.” Although it’s trap, it’s on the softer side of the genre.

All in all, No Explanations is not only a cool excursion away from Helena’s usual sound, but it is a success. Ultra Records put this one out, so it is currently available on digital stores. It’s a must have. In conclusion, we’re sending Helena Legend a virtual hug on her not only taking a leap of faith into new territories, but for putting together a hell of a project in the process.

[Electronic] Bearson – One Step At A Time (feat. Natalola)

One Step At A Time (feat. Natalola)

Although the season is fall, that isn’t stopping anyone from releasing records that echo the shine of the Summer sun. One of the producers putting out hot records of this nature is Bearson. Recently the Norwegian put out a single featuring Natalola called “One Step At A Time” that will hit you right in the feels.

“One Step At A Time” is an upbeat song whose lyrical content will touch the hearts of many people who have been in a similar situation as described. There, Natalola smashes the tune to bits with her performance that really makes this record what it is. Although, that’s not to take away from Bearson, whose instrumental is incredibly infectious. It’s at the perfect tempo for a song with step in its name, and the emotional response from listening to it is one that perfectly represents the theme. “One Step At A Time” is out now on digital services through Ultra Records.
