Today, we get a glimpse with the second single from his upcoming project featuring the talented and innovate post-R&B artist, The Weeknd. “Remember You” opens with a steady drum kit and soft piano with ethereal electronic elements and the falsetto voice signature to The Weeknd. [LIST] Hip-Hop Cash Kings: The Richest Rappers

Forbes recently released a list of 2012’s hip-hop “Cash Kings,” ranking the rap world’s top earners. Snagging the #1 spot was Dr. Dre, who wrangled up a whopping $110 million — half of which can be attributed to his Beats by Dre headphone brand. The West Coast producer and emcee was joined by #2 Diddy (buoyed by his Ciroc vodka), #3 Jay-Z (his money raked in from number of places, like the Brooklyn Nets) and #4 Kanye (reaping much of the benefits from Watch The Throne). Eminem, who hasn’t exactly been a popular face for corporate endorsements and sponsorships, still placed at #9, bolstered by his music, selling more albums in the last 10 years than any artist. What are your thoughts, ninjas?

1. Dr. Dre – $110 million
2. Diddy – $45 million
3. Jay-Z – $38 million
4. Kanye West – $35 million
5. Lil Wayne – $27 million
6. Drake – $20.5 million
7. Birdman – $20 million
8. Nicki Minaj – $15.5 million
9. Eminem – $15 million
10. Ludacris – $12 million

[Hip-Hop] Wiz Khalifa – Still Got It (ft. Project Pat)

Taylor Gang producer, Sledgren, took to his twitter a few minutes ago to release this new Wiz Khalifa track featuring Juicy J’s older brother and veteran rapper, Project Pat. Sledgren deserves the most credit for the knocking beat and Wiz does a good job on the chorus, while spitting decent on his verse. Project Pat attempts to use a flow that I remember from the remix of Three 6 Mafia’s Poppin’ My Collarbut just can’t make it sound as good as it did back then. Regardless, the instrumental along with the signature vocals of Wiz and the idea of a Project Pat comeback make it something I will still bump regularly. Taylor Gang getting ratchet…

[Hip-Hop] Wiz Khalifa – Far From Coach (ft. Game & Stat Quo)

With his most recent mixtape and subsequent tracks, Wiz Khalifa has shown artistic resilience giving his fans a reason to be optimistic once again. He hit Twitter tonight to release a new track featuring two solid contributors. In his typical stony, sing-song manner Wiz floats on the instrumental and delivers a strong verse continuing his experimentation with different flows. It is always nice to hear from Game and he assists well on the chorus and with his raps. This will likely appear on Khalifa’s upcoming album, O.N.I.F.C., which is set for release in late August. It should be interesting and exciting to see in what direction the Taylor takes his second album. In the meantime, a cool song to ride out to.

[Hip-Hop] Wiz Khalifa – Different Cloth ft. Busta Rhymes (Prod. Sledgren)

Busta Rhymes teams up with the Taylor Gang General to create a heavy synthed symphony of gangsta rap. Busta uses a mean delivery to start off the song, maybe fueled by recent altercations with Charlamagne, and Wiz picks up with his trademark smooth sung chorus. They make for an interesting collabo in the end and is one for a laidback summer night’s playlist.
