Chicago’s own The Basement Party step into new light with “High Tide Era,” a single that feels like a natural gear shift—more focused, more driven, but working off the sonic foundation that they have built. Released independently, it kicks off their new album cycle with punchy riffs, locked-in rhythms, and a no-frills attitude that speaks loudest when the volume’s up.

Formed in 2023, The Basement Party cut their teeth on smaller shows, local circuits, and other events. Now, with a full-length album on the horizon and a consistent rollout plan in place, they’re putting structure behind the brand.

“High Tide Era” is the start of a  longer run. There’s an album coming this summer, more singles on deck, and a growing momentum around a band that’s used to bringing the energy live. The Basement Party haven’t lost their basement roots, they’ve just added some major scaffolding.
