It’s the final Sunday of 2013, meaning it’s the perfect time to reflect fondly on the year that was and look forward to the year that will be. It’s the middle of December, which for many of us means our Holiday break is just an arm’s length away. Of course there’s some hurdles to get through along the way. Whether it’s a hellish finals week packed with little to no sleep, or having to endure office parties while donning your ugliest Holiday sweaters (admittedly, the second option sounds a bit less stressful), we’re here to give you a few moments of reprise as you sort through your hectic schedule.

It’s the first weekend of December, meaning I, like most of you out there, spent my Sunday stuck inside watching the snowflakes gently trickle down to the ground. Being trapped indoors isn’t always a bad thing however. At least you now have an excuse to huddle around the fireplace as you listen to the latest edition of Sunday Night Soul (if you don’t have a fireplace, a space heater will have to do). This edition is packed further to the brim than that mug of piping hot cocoa you’re gripping onto right now, with tasty selections from some of the most talented singers from across the web. Sunday Night Soul [Vol. 2]

Last week we launched our new series, Sunday Night Soul, and frankly, we were nearly surprised by the tremendous reception. That’s put a little pressure on us to repeat that success, and we think we’ve accomplished that here. Volume 2 is just as strong as Volume 1, if not better, with features as diverse as Tev’n‘s minimalistic “Rose Petal” to the comedic stylings of R.
