[Hip-Hop] A$AP Mob – Xscape (Feat. A$AP Twelvyy)

A$AP Mob
Xscape ft A$AP Twelvyy

After plenty of rumors and speculation, NYC crew A$AP Mob finally drop some new heat from their latest collaborative project. Putting the anticipation to rest, the latest track “Xscape” serves as more of an introductory track to the relatively unknown A$AP Twelvyy. From guest features on mixtapes and a few freestyles, Twelvyy drops some aggressive solo bars over the Tay Soprano-produced beat. Spitting on his rough upbringing in Harlem, NY and his ambition to make it big, this auto-biographical track is a tough intro to what is to come from the young emcee. Take a listen and be sure to cop their upcoming effort L.O.R.D. LP, dropping later this year.

[Hip-Hop] A$AP Rocky – Take it Easy Freestyle ft A$AP Ferg

A$AP Rocky has had a great past year in the music industry and now that he has been put on, he is bringing up other members of his crew. The A$AP mob returns to the scene, spitting some sick bars over the Mad Lion “Take it Easy” instrumental. Collaborating with newcomer A$AP Ferg, this duo spits a witty braggadocious rhyme about chasing woman and enjoying life. It’s clear these two are having fun in the studio and their flow vibes well with the throwback, organ heavy beat. Check out the first track off the upcoming New York Renaissance mixtape, hosted by Peter Rosendberg and Ecko Unlimited, dropping April 1st.

[Hip-Hop] A$AP Mob – Lord$ Never Worry (Mixtape)

Earlier tonight, A$AP Rocky and co. took to the web to release their highly anticipated compilation tape, Lord$ Never Worry. With the hood charisma of the Mob and production from AraabMuzik, A$AP Ty Beats and Clams Casino, among others, this project already has the blogs buzzing, and deservedly so. While the A$AP Mob continues to elevate in both popularity and success, it will be fascinating to see how they evolve as artists. This should hold fans over until Rocky’s debut LongLiveA$AP album, due out Sept. 11th, and help ride out what remains of summer. Stream the whole tape after the jump and grab it for free here: A$AP Mob – Lord$ Never Worry.

[Hip-Hop] A$AP Rocky – Purple Kisses (Video)

Anyone familiar with Harlem’s rising star, A$AP Rocky, has likely noticed that he is a big fan of just about all things purple. On his most recent track and, rather explicit, self-directed video, that PMF brings us another set of slowed-down, smoky and purp-filtered audio with visuals to match, featuring a variety of his favorite lady friends. On this cut, the A$AP headman continues to improve his flow alternating pace along with the beat leading into the chorus, a chopped and screwed rendition of Buddy Holly‘s It’s So Easy.

“Purple Kisses” will be featured on A$AP Mob‘s upcoming compilation LP, Lord$ Never Worry, which is set to drop on August 28th. While the last release from the project was more intense, Rocky lays back on this one creating a trippy aura ideal for his fellow purple enthusiasts.

[Hip-Hop] A$AP Mob – Bath Salt ft. Flatbush Zombies (prod. P On The Boards)

The A$AP crew joins forces with the Flatbush Zombies over some hard production to bring us Bath Salt, a certified slap. The Flatbush Zombies‘ Meechy Darko and Zombie Juice destroy this track with their dark,  high-energy flows. A$AP Ant matches the Zombies’ grime and the talented leader of the mob, A$AP Rocky, anchors the track with some of his best rhymes to date. This cut will be featured on the A$AP Mob compilation album, which will be shortly followed by Rocky’s debut album LongLiveA$AP, set to drop on September 11th. This will most definitely help kick off my weekend.
