Seattle’s Sharps and Convex of LA partner up to take on the single “Afterhours” by Troyboi and Diplo. Their free remix is an awe-striking future bass production that is not your run of the mill record. Sensational synths pierce the speakers alongside the sweet vocal from Nina Sky. Sometimes songs of this style keep things too light, but these two producers make sure to bring big 808’s and manage to keep things thick and juicy. Their take on “Afterhours” is one the chiller side, but it still has energy and groove, making it a track that can hold it’s own at festivals. Anytime you try and take on a Diplo original, it’s a tough thing, but Sharps and Convex pull it off without a hitch.
