“Love Gang” by Whethan and Charli XCX got a major remix treatment from one of our favorites, Candyland, and the Swedish Filip. Released as a free download, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be all over this track.

Smooth, suave and oh so sweet, this remix is all magic. We already know what Candyland can do on her own and every collab she’s released is pure fire, this one definitely included. With Filip the result is the perfect Summer flip of a hit that was made for festival season. The vocal chops are the definite highlight, but everything they brought to the table is impressive. Starting with Charli XCX’s vocal isn’t a bad place to begin either; she’s always got the heat. Listen and download this jam today.

It makes 100% sense that Candyland would take a stab at remixing “Candy” by Dillon Francis and Snappy Jit. It would also make 100% sense that she killed it, which she did. Not only that, but she decided to deliver it to the internet as a free download. There’s no excuse to not grab this one.

“Candy” in its new form is a twerk-friendly bass track that is sure to get the party started, or if the party is already going, then it’s going next level when this drops. Things get groovy in a hurry with Candyland’s adaptation whose bubbling basslines are meant to get those booties shaking. It’s always nice to hear a great track get a solid remix, which should come as no surprise given the remixer. Stream “Candy” today and don’t forget to download for a whopping cost of $0.

Candyland has been kicking up the house game with several of her past releases, and we’re not mad at all. The past two, including the latest one “Touch Me,” have been pushed through Monstercat, which has been a perfect fit for the Santa Barbara producer.

“Touch Me” isn’t exclusively Candyland’s, as the Brazilian producer RICCI hopped on it as well. I’m going to be frank here, deep house doesn’t get much better than this. From the vocal, to the bassline, to the percussion, to every little detail; this song is on point. If you don’t want something to get stuck in your head, then turn back now, because this is guaranteed to takeover your brain. Candyland never disappoints, and with the help of RICCI, this track was taken to extreme heights. We can’t wait to hear what each act has coming next. Candyland has done some house stuff before, but not like this. “Speechless” is the act’s newest single and it features RKCB of Los Angeles. Seeking Blue released this deep trek into four-to-the-floor territory on October 30th through digital stores, but it is just being uploaded to Soundcloud today. Highly influenced by pop, this record is one that can bring Candyland some mainstream appeal, not even just exclusively in the dance world. Despite going for a more mainstream sound, Candyland doesn’t play into some of the weaknesses that come with a lot of records that are geared for popularity. Josie truly delivers something that will leave audiences “Speechless” and us ninjas applaud her for going this unusual sonic route. We don’t know if these are coming, but we’re hoping some solid remixes are on the horizon for this amazing original.

Candyland hasn’t lost any steam since the two became one. Josie has kept up with solid productions, and entertaining crowds with live performances as though nothing has happened. Most recently, Candyland was tapped for an official remix of “You Don’t Own Me,” the single by Grace featuring G-Eazy. In a Facebook post about the remix, the Santa Barbara act stated that the two knocked the original out of the park, and we believe the same can be said for the remix. Candyland delivers a vocal driven edit that makes use of vocal chopping and modulating to create the melodic phrase after the drop. Prior to the climax, we get a thugged out version of the original that will have trap lords and queens bowing down for a long time to come. Continue reading →
