Mmmmmmm, Candyland is back. We didn’t have to wait long since the last release, a remix of “Lean On” that we had the chance to premiere. Santa Barbara’s own is here this time with an original called “Murda” that dropped with the help of SMOG Records.

“Murda” is some straight up thuggery. Dirty, in a uniquely trappy type of way, this track has that grimy groove that gets crowds thizz and bass faces going in full force. In adding another dope original to her catalog, Candyland shows there is plenty of juice in the tank to keep the fire coming. “Murda” is up for grabs on Beatport for those who would like to add this to their own library.

Today is the day that Major Lazer uploaded the official remix pack for “Lean On” to Soundcloud. It is also the day that The Music Ninja gets to premiere the Candyland version of the track, which is being released for free.

With Candyland’s sonic diversity, as a listener you have to be ready for anything. Trap is one style that Candyland excels at, and have implemented into the reworking of Major Lazer’s collaboration with DJ Snake and MØ. In fact, Josie had get her twerk on with this rambunctious production whose sound morphs as the song moves along to its finish. What you get with the first drop is nothing like you get with the last. It’s proven yet again why Candyland is one of the hottest acts out, giving us top notch records day in and day out. Truth is, Candyland has another single coming soon in the form of an original called “Murda” that will be released on SMOG Records on May 18th. If 12th Planet can get behind it, so can you!

[NEW] Stafford Brothers feat. Christina Milian & Lil Wayne – Hello (Candyland Remix)

Candyland switches it up again with yet another incredible production. This time doing an Official Remix for the Stafford Brothers track “Hello” featuring Christina Millian and Lil Wayne. Sampling the catchy Piano melody in the beginning and sprinkling it with some heavy distorted wobbles, resembling a sound design similar to Koan Sound. The vocals from Christina and Weezy bring a rather laid back vibe to this track, until Candyland doses you with more filth and flawless vocals edits.

Also stay tuned for Candyland’s upcoming EP “Bring The Rain” that will be released on Spinnin’ Records. We will also be featuring a new preview everyday until it’s release on January 21st. Cheers.
