[Hip-Hop] BenZel – Four (ft Juicy J & Cashmere Cat)

BenZel Ft. Juicy J & Cashmere Cat
Four

It’s easy to see why Juicy J is still a relevant and prominent artist in the music game. His latest collaboration, “Four,” with hit-makers Cashmere Cat and BenZel finds the Memphis emcee spitting a smooth verse over a dope beat. It is a rarity to hear some new music from Benzel, but it is always welcome and the production duo deliver an addicting track. The unique blend of southern flows over a lounge-esque beat makes for a chill listen that is sure to get heavy rotation on anyone’s playlist. No news on when this single will be available for purchase or if it is tied to another project. So, for now, sit back and enjoy some sonic euphoria.

[Hip-Hop] Juicy J – Ain’t No Coming Down

In anticipation for his new album, southern emcee Juicy J has been on his grind lately. Following the success of his other single “Show Out”, he teams with Childish Major and C4 production to drop “Ain’t Coming Down”. The slow-paced, dark single find the former 36 mafia rapper spitting his usual hard hitting rhymes about money, drugs, and weed. This is definitely more on the “sit-back and light up” or “ride-out” sound than his previous banger, but is still worth a listen. Be sure to check out his latest LP Stay Trippy when it drops later this year.

For his latest leak off of I Am Not A Human Being II, Lil Wayne releases one hell of a banger. Pour It Up Remix (Feat. Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J & T.I.)

After dominating the radiowaves with her single “Pour It Up” over the last few months, Rihanna decided it was finally time for a little remix action. Well, little probably isn’t the proper term, as this one features some heavyweights (that’s not a shot at the MMG Boss). Taking the strip club anthem to the next level, we now have the likes of Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J and T.I. all describing the typical ways they like to blow their money. Ignoring the ensuing awkwardness that is sure to occur when Jeezy and Ross find out they’re on the same track together, this is a pretty great remix that definitely accomplishes its goals of making you want to spend your stacks. You know you’re definitely bound to hear this one everywhere in the upcoming weeks.

Passion Pit – Constant Conversations (Juicy J Remix)

Constant Conversation
(featuring Juicy J)

I am kind of at a loss for words, but I must admit Juicy J actually kind of kills it on this remix of an already awesome Passion Pit hit. While we generally associate the former Three 6 Mafia member with high-energy, ratchet tracks like “Bandz A Make Her Dance,” he actually has demonstrated an ability to rock laid back beats with out really changing his style of rapping. It is pretty cool that outlandish collabs like this can happen today and shouts to Juicy for keeping an open mind this deep into his career. This, more than anything, is how he has managed to maintain so much relevance in today’s constantly evolving hip-hop landscape. Stream this unexpected remix below and look out for Juicy J’s Stay Trippy, due out soon.
