[Music Video] David Frank – Don’t Miss A Moment

The fresh talent David Frank is back with one of the most inspiring songs of the year so far. “Don’t Miss A Moment” is an incredibly catchy blend of folk, indie and pop that has that intangible “anthem” feeling. That term can get thrown around a lot, even in the dojo, but this song has GOT IT.

David Frank continues to astonish with his incredible voice and dynamic production that enters a whole new echelon with “Don’t Miss A Moment.” Not only do we get the song, but David is back on his music video game for this one. It’s a bit more humorous than the song at face value, but adds a nice dimension to the single. And, you can just tell it was fun to make. Check it out below and make sure to add the song to your Summer playlists!!

[Music Video] Isaiah Brown – Please Be The One

Back in November of 2022 Isaiah Brown released his debut album DREAMERBOY to a fantastic response by his fans and media alike. Continuing on that journey, Isaiah has expanded the music with video counterparts, most recently for the song “Please Be The One.”

The hip-hop meets R&B track was a standout on the LP, one that fans surely will be singing loud during Isaiah’s upcoming GENESIS tour. It’s one of our favorites from his album and the music video does it justice with its minimalist tone. It’s a fun visual with a laidback style that fits the vibe of the song. It’s not quite hot enough for the beach in most places, but let Isaiah take you there with this project!

When we open our hearts up to the fullest capacity of the world and people around us, we discover the depths of our own existence and the power of positivity. Let us embrace one another as one collective consciousness, all striving towards a better tomorrow, for our children and our children’s children. One Earth and One Love under the power of God, The Universe, and Our Creator/Mother Nature.” – Isaiah Brown

[Techno/Acid] – Jimmy Pé – Tunnel Vision

Ready to get a little weird with Jimmy Pé? The Slovakian dropped his new single “Tunnel Vision” on his home country’s arm of Universal. The acid-inspired techno heater is all gas no brakes for a fun-filled anthem.

“Tunnel Vision” has that timeless rave sound, one that’s a hit whether it was released 20 years ago, 20 years in the future or now. Armed with a memorable vocal sample, gritty bass and a vibrant attitude, Jimmy’s immaculate production feels like it belongs in a movie – perfectly encapsulating the scene of an iconic underground rave. It’s a great tune that deserves some space in your party playlist!

I found the vocal sample and instantly knew what I had to do with them. The whole process of this song took only two days. I love the feeling when you know from the first moment how it’s supposed to sound. It’s just like a tunnel where you see the light and slowly approach it. That’s how I would describe the process of this song.” – Jimmy Pé

The techy treasure’s latin inspired sound is elevated with bubbly production and bustling percussion that is catchy enough all on its own. Never holding back, San Pacho adds his signature bells and whistles (metaphorically speaking) for one of his most energetic songs to date. It’s a fun one. Let it take over your party playlists and if you’re around one of his tour stops, don’t miss out!

[Music Video] Tim Clark – Wake Up (feat. Jessica Zenzen)

It’s tough to pull off a great music video, but Tim Clark and team did a hell of a job with their work on “Wake Up.” The song, featuring Jessica Zenzen, was released early this month and with it came a Mad Max inspired visual counterpart. Imagine Mad Max meets rave – which we suppose doesn’t leave much room for imagination if you frequent Burning Man (haha).

Regardless, Tim Clark’s fun and progressive “Wake Up” is a strong dance tune – and they’ve captured its energy nicely in the video with over-the-top madness that’s as amusing as it is impressive. Check out the Red Revolver Cinema directed project below and make sure to add “Wake Up” to your rave playlists!

Latin Dance Icon Gian Varela Chats About Hit “Veneno” [TMN Interview]

Latin star Gian Varela has quite the track record. Having released on such labels as Armada, Spinnin’ Records, Revealed and more, as well as having been the first DJ to ever perform at the Panama Canal in his birth country, Gian’s been making big moves and even bigger waves for quite some time.

His latest endeavor is the house hit “Veneno” that he created in collaboration with Steve Andreas and singer Felicia. Not only did Gian drop this original on BARNATION, but the song comes with a superb music video. Gian joined us in the dojo to chat a little about the project, his recent signing to Mixmash and to let us know what else he has upcoming this year.

TMN: Can you tell us how your song “Veneno” came to be?

Gian: I wanted a record that would link my old music with everything that’s coming up new! Veneno did just that. I worked on it with the idea of merging a guaracha record with a house track with Steve, and then with Flori del Pino, we wrote the vocals. While we were in the studio, a conversation about the rise of non Gamstop UK casinos came up, highlighting how these platforms offer alternatives outside the typical regulations, much like how we were blending different music genres. But we needed an authentic guaracha singer from Colombia who’d be down to work it, and that’s when we brought in Felicia.

TMN: How was shooting the music video for the song?

Gian: It was fun! A bit exhausting as I worked with the team on editing the video as I flew to Amsterdam from Miami. The timelines were a bit crazy but such is life.

TMN: How was the experience of being the first DJ to play at the Panama Canal?

Gian: It was the most challenging project I’ve ever had to do. But in the end once it came out, I still can’t believe we pulled it off. It was an honor and such an emblematic thing for me. There will definitely be a round 2.

TMN: As someone at the forefront of Latin America’s electronic music scene, what are you looking forward to in the next few years?

Gian: Spanish House this year, then the I want to definitely hear more genres in Spanish! From Dubstep to Techno. I believe there is always a way to fuse these worlds together. You can bet on me being at the forefront of pushing this more and more.

TMN: What else is going on in the world of Gian Varela for the rest of the year?

Gian: Having just signed to Mixmash and getting ready for a whole amount of biiig releases with major artists both from the Latin world and the dance music world: I’m really exited! I’m also happy to come back to Twitch and be able to stream and hang out with the fans.

[Music Video] Apashe x Vladimir Cauchemar – RIP

Apashe has long been one of the most interesting producers out there and at this point he’s earned the right to be called a composer too. With his classical influence that brought him to record an album, an EP and more with real orchestras, he’s one of dance music’s most iconic creatives and now he’s back with another iconic musician in the masked Vladimir Cauchemar.

There song “RIP” is a beautifully contorted blend of styles that one can only describe as cinematic house. It’s a hypnotic record that comes with an even more astounding music video. Apashe has been widely recognized by his impressive music videos before, but the visual counterpart to “RIP” is bigger than ever. It’s grand, sharp, indulgent and Earth-shattering (literally). Check it out for yourself and enjoy the end of the world.
