[Electronic] SLANDER & YOOKiE – One Life feat. Zach Sorgen

Two of trap’s heavyweights collided on a massive single, but it is not what you’d expect. “One Life” sees SLANDER and YOOKiE diving into a totally different sonic territory than what we’re used to, but they didn’t falter in doing so.

Released on Spinnin Records, this three-way collaboration with vocalist Zach Sorgen is a cosmic creation with some future undertones. We wouldn’t go as far as calling it future bass, but it certainly shares some influence from the genre while taking it a different direction to new heights. The soft Summer single is a smash release that we’ll come to again and again as Summer comes to a close. If you want a copy, grab one on digital stores today.

[Future Bass] SLANDER – Superhuman feat. Eric Leva

Not sure what it is about this festival season but SLANDER is bringing out all the stops. After the release of their Halsey remix just a couple of weeks ago, they’re back with an original work. “Superhuman” featuring Eric Leva has come through the Monstercat pipeline.

“Superhuman” lives up to the name, as well as the context of its release through one of the most popular dance music labels of all time. The track sees the duo branching further into the future bass sound, one that’s a bit less hype-focused than a lot of their works. They bring the feels on this, showing even more range. If you would like a copy of the track, get it on the digital service of your choosing today.

[Future/Trap] Halsey – Now Or Never (Slander Remix)

We didn’t get the Halsey x Slander original we wanted, but the duo has come through with a remix of her song “Now Or Never.” Released as a free download, this track no doubt has been and will be rocked in their sets over the Summer.

With all the remixes coming out, this is one that stands out, not only because of who the remixer is and who they’re remixing, but because it’s a grand musical illustration that is just what the mainstage is looking for. Most producers are bringing out their “big” tracks but sometimes they just don’t quite feel as big as they should. This feels exactly how it should, large and in charge. Stream it today and get your copy before checking out more music in the dojo!

[Trap] Adam K & Slander – Breathe (feat. Matthew Steeper & Haliene)

ADAM K & SLANDER
BREATHE (ft. Matthew Steeper & Haliene)

When you get the chance to work with someone you look up to, there’s no better feeling in the labor or art realm. With Slander, music is their labor, and Adam K is someone they look up to. Both parties came together to work on a track, alongside help from Matthew Steeper and Haliene, called “Breathe.” Their heavenly take on trap is just the soothing record you need this weekend. It’s like what you want from a progressive house anthem, but packed into the trapstyle frame. Slander and Adam K did a superb job putting this one together, delivering something different from both their usual sounds. When we first heard that these acts were coming together, we had no idea what to expect. We knew however that it would be something that was incredible, and that’s just what we got. We were ready to dish out some money for it, but come to find out, it’s free!
