James Bairian & Louis Castle of Los Angeles make up the duo The Gifted. This is an act that you won’t be forgetting any time soon, even if you try as hard as you can to rid them from your memory.
The duo’s newest single “Purity” features Kossisko, and is easily one of the coolest songs of the Summer, taking inspiration from classic disco records. Although it has that old school aesthetic, you can’t miss the new age characteristics that breathe through the composition. Fans of funk are going to be flocking to this single whose replay value is nearly infinite. The Gifted and Kossisko did more than knock this one out of the park, they cleared the stadium and maybe even the parking lot. “Purity” is a genuinely solid record that would do insanely well on the radio. Hopefully these acts manage to make it there, because they certainly deserve it with this one.
