New Yorkers Hospitality first appeared on the scene all the way back in 2009, and here they are, with what is unbelievably their first single. ‘Friends Of Friends’ is jaunty indie number, with sharp yet poppy guitar and infectious vocals. The accompanying video (directed by Scott Jacobson) tells the tale of a rejected girlfriend who travels to NYC to find peace. With celebs such as Alia Shawkat and Kurt Braunohler appearing, this may be an early contender for Video of the Year. A great band to look out for, ‘Friends Of Friends’ is officially out on January 31.
