The Music Ninja is a music blog out to discover the great songs from the past and present. It primarily focuses on independent music from all genres and tries to stay away from mainstream music that you would listen on the radio. There is a lot of great songs being created everyday that most people never get the chance to listen to, The Music Ninja is trying to change that one song at a time!

Aside from posting new songs that I come across this blog is aslo composed of several sections:

Quick Play:
The mp3 player appearing under the menu is design to provide a summary of mp3′s that have been posted in one months length. Each section/cover has a list of songs ready to be played. This is the perfect place to start to see if this blog fits your musical needs!

Quickies:
Straight to the point posts with one or two mp3′s. If I am familiar with the artist/band or have written about them before, I will most likely put their songs in a quickie.

Month Selections:
Every month I select a different genre and create a list of the best songs for that period. These selection are mainly new releases or songs I have never heard before. They will contain enough mp3′s to make an audio CD out of.

Looking Back:
I am a late bloomer when it came down to discovering music. Up until I started college I did not really listen to a lot of new songs. There are tons of songs I want people to listen to but since the songs dates a couple of years back, there is a good chance you one might have already listen to it. If you are a music enthusiast and have listen to almost any song out there, just please keep scrolling down and skip these posts.
