French house legends Daft Punk soundtracked one of last year’s biggest movies, TRON: LEGACY, and produced a mind-bending collection of incredible tracks. Now, the music is back, and this time it’s been remixed by electro luminaries such as Photek and Moby. The opener, ‘Derezzed’, reworked by LA trio The Glitch Mob, is possibly the best introduction into excellent electronic music. A slice of classic Daft Punk (packed with insistent and incessant rhythms), with added heavy bass and club-style intensity, ‘Derezzed’ packs one hell of a punch, and serves as great start to a fantastic album. ‘Derezzed’ (The Glitch Mob Remix) is featured on ‘TRON:LEGACY “Reconfigured”‘, available April 5 via tronsoundtrack.com.
