When I arrived to the Ogden in Denver, Colorado for the Language Tour, I was surprised by the amount of people that were already there in the crowd ready for a fun night. It was my first time seeing The M Machine, and I was definitely not disappointed by their performance. The highlight of their set was when they dropped their drumstep mashup of “Glow” that they played towards the end. Unlike other dj sets that I’ve seen, they had a live set up and sang vocals. After The M Machine, came Mat Zo. I previously saw Mat Zo at Beta this year (which he killed) and was excited to see him again. It was interesting to see how his set differed from headlining his own event, to opening up for Porter. He stunned the crowd with his mixes and made them go even more crazy when he would drop tracks such as “One More Time” by Daft Punk.

Saying that Porter Robinson knows how to put on a show, is an understatement. If you’ve ever had the chance to see him, then you understand exactly what I am referring to. And if you haven’t, I highly suggest that you find out soon. Porter’s constant energy that he carries throughout the set is incredible. There isn’t a dull moment in his set and the crowd stays energized for every minute of it. Something that I personally enjoy about Porter’s sets is that he always manages to play tracks that I have never heard of, which is refreshing. The crowd went insane when Porter dropped his own tracks such as “Say My Name” and “100% in the Bitch” . Porter ended his set with “Language”, which was the perfect ending to the night.

Overall, the Language Tour was one of my favorite shows that I have seen in awhile. The entire show was like one big party throughout the entire night and The M Machine and Mat Zo were perfect openers. All the acts blend together nicely and you get a nice variety of music as the night carries on. There is only a few shows left of the tour, and if it’s coming to your city, I highly suggest that you go.
