Dream-poppers Beach House dropped ‘Equal Mind”, the B-side to their exclusive Record Store Day 7″ ‘Lazuli’, and we’re astounded. Firstly, it’s only a B-side- this sounds like one of their finest songs. Secondly, because the balance between Victoria Legrand’s ethereal vocals and the mountains of hazy synths is pretty darned perfect. If ‘Equal Mind’ doesn’t get you excited for the release of forthcoming album ‘Bloom’ (out May 15), then we don’t know what will.
