We’ve known We Were Promised Jetpacks were something special, ever since the Scottish rockers dropped their debut LP ‘These Four Walls’ way back in 2009. Now the band are readying themselves for the release of their sophomore effort, titled ‘In The Pit Of The Stomach’, by putting ‘Act On Impulse’ out as a free download. An epic slow-burner of a track, ‘Act On Impulse’ builds from a quiet guitar-led intro into a hugely powerful monster that deserves to be played in stadia the world over. Who knows, if the rest of ‘In The Pit Of The Stomach’ is as strong as ‘Act On Impulse’, they’ll most likely be headlining the globe’s biggest venues. ‘Act On Impulse’ is featured on the forthcoming album ‘In The Pit Of The Stomach’, available October 4 via FatCat Records.
