MGMT recently took over LateNightTales, and slipped in their cover of celebrated punk band Bauhaus’ ‘All We Ever Wanted Was Everything’. It’s a great interpretation of the track, and one that stands fine on its own, away from the compilation. Animation artist Ned Wenlock created the video for the track, giving it a sense of timeless Britishness (the old-school red phone-boxes are a delightful touch) but still keeping it contemporary. A brilliant feast for the eyes and ears.
