Jonathan Visger, the mastermind behind moniker, Absofacto, has been a must follow artist since we first posted about him in 2010. Every passing year since then, Absofacto has grown ten fold in popularity and most importantly in musical style. With every release being that much more comprehensive than previous ones, the Michigan artist has shaped to be one of our favorites here at The Music Ninja and “Backfire” drives the point home. Simple and gentle Radiohead-esque vocals are placed over a delicate backdrop of soothing instrumentation that progressively grows with intensity and passion taking you to a dark hazy place where lost thoughts are often found.
