AN21 and Max Vangeli come together with Tiesto to create a new summer anthem for festivals and shows across the world, aptly titled “People of the Night.” I’ve been eagerly waiting for this song to release ever since it premiered on Pete Tong’s Radio 1 Show in 2011. Lover Lover’s adroit vocal expertise literally raises the hairs on my arms as the song builds. The lush, purposeful acoustic strumming crescendos into a powerful progression that brings everyone into one single moment, unifying crowds in anticipation and clamoring for the drop. If there ever was a song that was euphoria incarnate, “People of the Night” comes pretty damn close. This is a track that belongs on any DJ’s set list; I suggest dropping it at the highest point of the night.
