This Pool Party Feels Like a Funeral (feat. Various Cruelties)
Contradictory to his last name, Felix Snow wants to bring you summer vibes. He’s done just that with his this premiere of “This Pool Party Feels Like a Funeral”. The lyrical selection from Various Cruelties, haunting piano keys and synths are a bit dark, but the crooning vocals and subject matter still dial in that end of the season feel that we’re all yearning for.
NYC producer Felix Snow really has a number with this tune though. It’s a little bit of a departure from the electronica driven tracks that populate his Soundcloud page, but we’re equally as impressed. The percussion driven tune creates a groovy vibe with it’s repetitious bass progression and bending guitar notes. It’s infectious demeanor calls on you to listen over and over again, which is what we’ve been doing for the past day.
