As this track opens up, a steady tribal drum beat welcomes soft, ethereal background vocals complimented by lead singer, Matt Sheehy. The song is a culmination of synth, drums, bass, guitar, piano, and even some whistling. It’s peaceful, intricately written, performed and produced.
Sheehy has recently come together with Brent Knopf to work on a new project, Lost Lander. This Oregon 3-Piece has released this single, Cold Feet, as a teaser to their debut album, DRRT. With sounds that echo Band of Horses, and My Morning Jacket, we can only hope that the whole album is as good as the track below.
