[Electronica] Echodeck – An Introduction

I really love any sort of weird/trippy/ambient/experimental electronic music.  So at the behest of the Music Ninja himself, I’ve recently been scouting around on The Sixty One looking for some new tunes, and thus far, my favorite has been this number from Echodeck, the name of Paul Barrett from the UK. And that’s the only info I can find out about him on the interwebs. It’s too bad, too, because he’s created some darn good music. This song especially reminds me of Four Tet, another favorite electronic experimenter of mine. I really like how it sounds a bit glitchy (as one reader so perfectly put it) but in an intentional way. Let’s hope that Echodeck makes himself a little more well known and keeps doing what he do.
