Although you will never ever catch this ninja riding around in a Scion, I must admit that they are on top of it with their enlistment of up ‘n coming artists. Their collaboration with Danny Brown on “Grown Up” still stands as one of my favorite tracks of his. This time around, they recruit the seemingly omnipresent emerging New York based producer Harry Fraud to create a characteristically laid back instrumental with fellow NYC-bred French Montana (who actually spent the first thirteen years of his life in Morocco) and TMN favorite Action Bronson hopping on the mic.

On “Mean,” Montana kicks things off with his “Stay Schemin”-esque gangster crooning paving the way for the always lyrically creative and comic Action Bronson whose verse proves fitting for the song title. Stream the track below and head over to the Scion A/V site for a free download of both the track and its chill, east-coast instrumental.
