There isn’t anything much better to wake up to than a new track featuring two of Georgia’s trap hip-hop legends. While electro-trap gains momentum, Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz definitely deserve credit for being pioneers in molding the genre’s brilliant ignorance. On ”Outta Control,” the two trapstars team up with R&B hit-maker Jeremih over the trippy production of KB to discuss those party girls who get just a bit too ratchet. This is a little more laid back than what we’re used to from any of these three artists, but Gucci and 2 Chainz deliver solid, entertaining verses with their always unconventional punchlines and Jeremih offers the perfect hook. Jeremih’s upcoming mixtape, Late Nights, is set to drop tomorrow and just might be worth a listen with quite a few notable features and production credits.
