There’s nothing more exciting than hearing that artist that makes you stop and say, “who’s that?” You know the one we’re talking about. The one that stops you dead in your tracks, leaving you fumbling through your pockets in a feeble attempt to open your iPhone. Today though, there’s no need to bring out the Shazam app. For a lot of you, this will be one of those bands, and luckily for you – we’re here to share it with you.

Dropping just a month ago, London based indie rockers We the Wild have accomplished a handsomely constructed EP, comprised of four ear and heart catching tunes. With an infectious blend of traditional pop structure, classic rock, blues and electronica, we’re instantly intrigued.

First up on the EP is one of our favorites, “You Lost My Mind,” is comprised of light tickling of the ivories, finger blistering guitar bends and love centric lyrics. Between the electronic, repitious percussions and the distorted vocals of the lead singer, this tune is all set for the repeat button.

Our other favorite on the EP (not taking anything away from the other fantastic tracks) is the ever-so-catchy pop tune, “Body Electric Blue,” which calls on associations like Imagine Dragons and X Ambassadors. It’s buzzing with familiarity, yet still maintains it’s own unique personality.

This EP is solid front to back. Don’t take our word for it though – press play and start enjoying for yourself.
