The song is a melting pot of all that is popular in indie music right now: chillwave dreamy melodies, rocky riffs, echoed elongated female vocals and the presence of Cudi’s genune careless attitude. An overdose of all indie elements that music bloggers fantasize about. Does it stand up to the hype?! Quite frankly, Yes, it really does. This delightful track is actually quite refreshing to listen and fans of Kid Cudi will find it easier to listen to as it just might erase the awful after taste of his collaboration with Kanye West.
