Golden Shoulders is a collective of talented musicians from Nevada City, California, lead by songwriter Adam Kline. Formed in 2001, the group operates with a constantly rotating lineup with the contributors varying from performance to performance, song to song. On the band’s recent full length called Get Reasonable, the music embraces the crescendoing pop opuses of the 70s, toes tapping and heads bobbing by the end of the first track.

I am not sure the exact reason why I love the “Mountain” so much… they seem to be all over the place with many braeks in between the song but yet it comes across very genuine and playful. Perhaps I like the song because at times their pop style sound like a re-incarnation of The Beatles. Whatever it is I cant really put my finger on… what do you think? Give it a couple of second.

    I only took a quick listen but I could tell it was a good stong from the start. I liked the change ups/transitions throughout the song. I think it keeps things fresh and interesting.

    Good stuff! Liked the change of rhythm and lyrics like “I’m more starving than artist”. Disliked the noise in the background at start that sounded like I was getting an e-mail message on the computer. But anyway…nice find. Thanks!
