Within the annals of music history, Parisians have always seemed to loom near the forefront of the next big sounds, especially within the confines of electronic music, which in turn has always made us a bit excited when we latch on to new artists from the city of love. Tchami has been the latest French producer to really steal a piece of our heart through releasing some of the choicest cuts of house, deep-house and future thus far in 2014 and his latest single “Untrue” -which officially sees the light of day on April 4th through the always on point Spinnin camp- follows that established blueprint of bouncy, emotive but subdued dance instrumentation. Every one of Tchami’s compressed kicks or muted bass stabs serves a necessary purpose in the construction of “Untrue”, which effortlessly climbs to it first build before delving into a rousing lead synth playing in harmony with such an infectious, clubby bassline. We absolutely couldn’t seem to pull this melodic house anthem out of our heads after one listen, and we’re thrilled to put our ‘TMN Premiere’ stamp on this one.
