We had posted this Miniature Tiger’s song back in 2010 as a part of a Lazy Weekday mix, but we recently came back across it and felt like we needed to share it again. The Brooklyn via Phoenix band has recently released a new album called Mia Pharaoh. We’ve included a track from that album, Boomerang, but still couldn’t help posting Cannibal Queen once again.
The playful, poppy indie rock song features charming and entertaining lyrics from front man Charlie Brand. One of the most endearing qualities to this highly infectious track though is the vocal harmonies that give the song a feeling like it’s one long chorus. This of course, is one of the main reasons why this song is so damn catchy!
