Grandtheft has been on an absolute tear lately, and seems to be getting more inventive with each release. This EP is being released via Jefreee‘s on Mad Decent and contains two originals, one of which features Hedspin. Hot off his last remix of Group Love‘s track, “Way To Go”, it’s nice to see him delivering some more high quality productions.
First up is “Mobbin” and Grandtheft teams up with Hedspin, for an all out banger. It starts off dark and gloomy resembling that of some old school TNGHT tracks. Then drops into some booming synths worthy of a constant head nod, can’t say enough about this production. The second track is titled “Give Me More”, and airs more on the Love Trap side of the spectrum. Starting with a euphoric melody and clever vocal edits, this one hits at all the right times. Cheers.
