Brighton based D&B duo, Allied return with a free download of their remix of Bleek‘s ‘Into the Arch’. Deconstructing the relentless menace of Bleek’s underground smash and rebuilding it around a bed of moody atmospherics and scattergun percussion, the forward thinking duo transform ‘Into the Arch’ into a deep, progressive roller. The remix ultimately comes alive in the details with sudden loop breaks and the surprising appearance of extra half and quarter beats, reminiscent of old school techniques but modernized for consumption in 2012.
