[Hip-Hop] Big Sean – Paradise + I Don’t Fuck With You (Feat. E-40) + Jit/Juke + 4th Quarter

It’s been a minute since we last heard any solo material from Big Sean, but the Detroit spitter has returned in a big way today (no pun intended). In honor of his recent signing to Roc Nation and the release of his own signature pair of Adidas shoes, Sean Don decided to share four brand new songs to celebrate his hustle. These aren’t exactly your average fare either, as the tracks feature production from an eclectic group that includes Mike WiLL Made ItKanye West, DJ Mustard, DJ Dahi, Key Wane, Nate Fox, Da Internz and L&F.

Sean is all over the map in this collection, as he draws influence from a number of various styles of hip-hop. From the far more serious “Paradise” and “4th Quarter” to the more playful “Jit/Juke” and “I Don’t Fuck With You,” the talented rapper stays steady with the punchlines, dropping plenty of quotables and keying us into some of the recent happenings of his life, namely the rumors surrounding his relationship with Ariana Grande.

Nod your head to the tracks below, and make sure to be on the lookout for any upcoming album announcements from the G.O.O.D. Music representative.

[NEW] Big Sean – 1st Quarter Freestyle (Prod. Key Wane & Travi$ Scott)

Big Sean
1st Quarter Freestyle

After dropping his sophomore album, Hall of Fame, last year, Big Sean is primed for another big year in 2014. Wasting no time, the Detroit spitter is kicking things off the right way with this “1st Quarter Freestyle.” Produced by longtime collaborator Key Wane and fellow G.O.O.D. Music affiliate Travi$ Scott, the track features Sean rhyming over a deep, hard-hitting instrumental for nearly six minutes straight. There’s no clue whether this will be featured on any future projects yet, but we’ve got a feeling we’re about to hear a mixtape announcement very soon. Download the track above, and make sure to check out the Mike Carson directed visuals as well below.

[Remix] Big Sean – 10 2 10 (Feat. Rick Ross & Travi$ Scott)

Big Sean
10210 Remix Feat. Rick Ross & Travi$ Scott

It’s hard to deny that Big Sean is one of the hardest workers in the game. How else could you explain his steady ascent to the top of the charts over the last few years? Now Sean wants to share in the wealth, allowing a few friends–namely MMG’s Rick Ross and G.O.O.D. Music labelmate Travi$ Scott–to give his latest single a whole new spin. Given the hilarious (or offensive depending on your opinion) nature of the chorus you knew this track was in for a remix treatment. As one of his hardest hitting joints to date, Sean somehow finds a way to improve off the original, with Rozay and Scott sounding right at home over the pounding instrumental. Check out the single above, and make sure to grab yourself a free download. Hall of Fame is in stores now.

[NEW] Drake – All Me (Feat. 2 Chainz & Big Sean)

Drake
All Me feat. 2 Chainz & Big Sean

While many of us out there were sleeping (I know I was), Drake decided to drop this bomb on us seemingly out of nowhere (which is pretty much the norm for him these days). Drizzy must’ve been in a generous mood last night, hooking us up with a free download of his latest single featuring 2 Chainz & Big Sean. Given the title of the song (and the parties involved), it’s probably not too difficult to ascertain that the minimalistic trap anthem is brimming with braggadocious rhymes and self indulgent lyrics. We’d like to say this will be featured on Nothing Was The Same, but you can never be too sure with Drake. Look for the album when it drops on September 17th.

[Hip-Hop] Big Sean – 24K of Gold (Remix) (Feat. J. Cole & Raekwon) (Prod. Key Wane)

“24K of Gold” was just one of many highlights on Big Sean‘s excellent Detroit mixtape. Now Sean’s go-to producer, Key Wane, has released the remix featuring none other than The Chef, Raekwon. The Wu-Tang affiliate blesses the track with his usual abrasive yet eloquent flow, while Big Sean and J. Cole lock things down on the front end of the track. This little gem can be found on Key Wane’s new mixtape, So Many Keys, which features a myriad of songs he’s produced over the last year.

[Hip-Hop] Big Sean – Guap (Prod. Key Wane & Young Chop) & She (feat. Common) (Prod. No I.D.)

After the recent announcement of his sophomore album, Hall of Fame: Memoirs of a Detroit Player, Big Sean decided to commemorate the declaration by dropping the album’s first single. With a tropical-trill vibe resonating throughout, Big Sean flaunts his newfound wealth and explains how he plans to spend it all, presumably while on fancy island resorts in Hawaii. Sean decides to take some time to recognize his haters on the track as well, dedicating the song’s chorus to all of his enemies and ex-girls. All and all, “Guap” is a pretty good party track and should help provide some warmth in the cold months to come.

On the other side of the coin, we have what may be another leak from Big Sean’s new album in “She” featuring former G.O.O.D. music associate Common, crafted by super-producer, No I.D, the mastermind behind the instrumentals for much of his debut. On this track, Sean enters some unfamiliar territory discussing the subject of fathering an illegitimate child. “She” is a bit more serious than what you’d normally expect from the young Detroit legend, but it’s a refreshing change of pace and step towards maturity as a musician for the young Big Sean.

Enjoy some quality hip-hop below and look out for his albumwhich will hit stores December 18th. With these strong releases, Big Sean’s second album might be shaping up to be something real special.

[Hip-Hop] Big Sean – Detroit (Mixtape)

Since being signed to G.O.O.D. Music back in 2007, Big Sean has had a steady rise finding mainstream success with out losing his original fan base. Sean has been featured on some of the biggest hip-hop tracks in the last couple of years and, with the help of Kanye West, emerged as a consistently relevant artist. Best known for his witty wordplay and experimental flows, the Detroit native  has been a very valuable asset to the G.O.O.D. team. On his latest mixtape, dedicated to his home city, he draws in help from a ridiculous amount of notable names in hip-hop including Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Juicy J and King Chip, just to name a few. With production credits just as impressive, Detroit, will likely be one of the strongest efforts from Big Sean yet.

With G.O.O.D. Music’s highly anticipated Cruel Summer‘s September 18th release date around the corner, this should more than hold fans over. Stream a few notable tracks below and download the whole tape for free here: Big Sean – Detroit (Mixtape).
