Harkening back on my early college days, Vanic has grabbed my hand and taken me back to a day of bleach blonde hair and rebellious rap lyrics. Some of you may not remember 8 Mile, but I most certainly do. Our favorite renegade rapper made his silver screen debut with a story about his life and times before we all came to love him and his music.
Fast foward to today and Vanic has blended one of the most iconic scenes with some big buzzy dubstep beats. The essential vibes of the original are all in place. The feelings that are evoked by listening to “B-Rabbit” light up a Detroit nightclub in the feature film are perfectly encapsulated in this remix.
