It has been a while since I heard from Future Islands, ever since we reviewed In Evening Air last year. There is something about lead singer Samuel T. Herring’s gravel-throated, soulful howl of a voice that just cant be ignored. With their upcoming album On The Water releasing October 11th, comes the delightful synth pop, uplifting track “Balance”, paving the way for what is to be expected on the new album.
