Love Me Like You Do (ATB Remix)
Here’s a quick little history lesson for any dance music newbies that just became accustomed to the scene over the past year or two. When the EDM boom came to America, it was predominantly lead by a clique of European DJs/producers that were finally able to take their aspirations to the next level. One instrumental artist within the aforementioned group has been recently locked away in the studio. You probably guessed who it is, but if you haven’t, we’ll fill you in – ATB.
This storied German producer can be defined by his uplifting melody-driven anthems that teeter on the line between progressive house and trance. To kick off 2015 in an epic fashion, ATB has remixed songstress Ellie Goulding’s single “Love Me Like You Do” off the soundtrack of everybody’s favorite Valentines Day movie, Fifty Shades of Grey. The German powerhouse overlays an assortment of galactic chord progressions, engaging synth trickles, and electrifying kick drums to reassert his dominance as a pioneering producer.
