Life Round Here Feat. Chance the Rapper
If ever there were a rapper we’d expect to hear over a James Blake produced instrumental, it probably would have been Drake. With that being said though, you won’t find us complaining about this new collaboration with Chitown’s Chance The Rapper. Given Chance’s penchant for tackling unorthodox beats, it comes as no surprise that he’s able to slide in comfortably right over the Overgrown single. The track obviously has been modified a bit to suit the hip-hop style of the remix, adding in some snappy percussion to adapt to Chance’s spitfire flow. Similar to his previous single with Nosaj Thing, Chance takes the opportunity to discuss life round his streets, crooning out “Life ain’t been round here in a minute” throughout the melody. No word yet on how we can get our hands on the single, but check out the stream above and cross your fingers for a free download.
