Dutch producer Oliver Helden has brought a fresh new sound to Tiesto’s Musical Freedom label, and simply put, we’re grinning ear to ear. Not that we have a problem with trance, electro house or progressive house, but it’s nice to see a spotlight on a really solid tech house tune. Without the use of vocals, a beautiful melody or devastating drops, “Gecko,” crawls under your skin in the best way. It has one of those infectious beats that demands your presence on the dance floor, and we can pretty much guarantee that you’re going to oblige its siren call.
