Human Movement
Stranger

No newcomers to these pages, Aussie club shakers Human Movement have been like a breath of fresh air to our dance fed Ninja lungs. And by fresh air, we mean a sweaty, sternum-thumping, greasy-house tipping kind of fresh air. After last appearing with us in February armed with the ragga stricken industrial-dance riddims of “Paradise”, Blake Gilray and Edward Macdonald’s project is back with another genre-blurring dance single: “Stranger”. True to Human Movement’s gritty, but extremely accessible blueprint, “Stranger”, touches on corners of a multitude of genre staples, yet remains completely unique to most everything else circulating the blogosphere dance wise. Human Movement pump a raw, warehouse-y industrial backbone as the most recognizable fuel for “Stranger”, encasing that aesthetic through an underground House structure while furthering a pop sensibility behind a spliced and gorgeous vocal track. It’s wonky, tasteful and dirty all at once, and as always, we hope you’re ready to dance to this one. Stream “Stranger” above, and take this one home in the form of a free download here.
